Nora Barton, Cello
Nora Barton grew up in Lexington, KY. She received her BM in cello performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2006, where she studied with Lee Fiser. While at CCM, she became interested in contemporary performance and was involved in many composition department recitals, as well as the school's annual summer festival MusicX in 2005 and 2006.
Nora is currently studying with John Sharp at the Chicago College of Performing Arts. When not at school, she can be seen performing with the Chicago Classical Revolution and with her band, Jon Drake & The Shakes.
